Le montage propos\u00e9 travaille les s\u00e9quences selon divers agencements qui respectent le sens possible du film : passage d\u2019un lieu \u00e0 l\u2019autre, d\u2019un moment \u00e0 l\u2019autre. Passer, aller d\u2019un po(i)nt \u00e0 un autre, c\u2019est se transformer, devenir autre. Le film fait appel \u00e0 des quasi-leitmotive qui relancent le flux et facilitent les transformations diverses de l\u2019\u00e9pars des sensations. Ce film renoue avec le lyrisme sans pour autant renier le formalisme mais l\u2019utilise autrement, en tenant compte du sens, des sens possibles que produisent les images et leurs encha\u00eenements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u00ab Musique liquide des passages \/ sous tous les angles \u00e9parpill\u00e9s \/ bateau &#8211; fontaine &#8211; marbre mouill\u00e9 par une vague perp\u00e9tuelle et parfois bleue &#8211; rives de pierre &#8211; pont &#8211; temps noirs &#8211; po\u00e8me des glissements au travers des villes. Intriguing, fleeting images of Florence, London and particularly Paris -clearly the filmmaker\u2019s home, so intense is his vision of it, so strong his attraction to its lifeblood, the Seine. The eerie colors of the bateau-mouche floodlights blend with a purely filmic chromatic intensity. The textures, the meticulous montage, the alluring colors, create something of the same celebration of place through provocative artifice found in Christo\u2019s wrapped Pont Neuf (which is fleetingly seen in the film).<br \/>\nBringing some of Amoroso \u2019s Roman passion home to the city which inspired the imposing formality of his earlier films, Beauvais begins to merge the two poles of his works. The synthesis is exciting. \u00a0\u00bb Scott Hammen.<\/p>\n<p>This film is a series of shot or found sequences (about, of cities that I frequent) which, in the editing, display a fluidity and continuity eluding narration. The sequences are shaped by the editing according to various arrangements which respect the film possible direction: passage from one place to another, from one moment to another.<br \/>\nTo pass, bridging one point to another, is to transform oneself, become other. The film employs certain leitmotivs which relauch the flow and facilitate diverse transformations of scattered sensations.
